I’m curious about everyone’s development setup. What tools, IDEs, and workflows do you use for WordPress development?

My current setup:

  • 💻 MacBook Pro M2
  • 📝 VS Code with PHP Extension Pack
  • 🐳 Local by Flywheel
  • 🎨 Figma for designs
  • ☕ Way too much coffee

I’m less technical but here’s my content creation setup:

  • 💻 iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard
  • 📝 Notion for planning
  • 📷 Canva for images
  • ☕ Herbal tea actually 🍵

WordPress + Elementor is my go-to for building sites!

Nice setup Alex! ☕

Mine is similar:

  • 💻 Windows 11 PC (for that dual monitor life)
  • 📝 PhpStorm – love the built-in database tools
  • 🐳 Docker with WordPress
  • 🎨 Adobe XD
  • ☕ Also too much coffee 😅

Pro tip: I use WP-CLI for all repetitive tasks – saves hours!
